Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript falls within the scope of the journal's coverage.

  2. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  3. The manuscript has been edited for grammar, spelling, consistency, and clarity.

  4. The manuscript does not contain plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, and dishonest practices.

  5. The submission is in Microsoft Word file format.

  6. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

  7. The journal charges an article processing charge after acceptance of the manuscript.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal and Sciedu Press the right of first publication and the rights needed to publish, identify, preserve, distribute, and index the article. Unless an article states otherwise, it is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). Reuse, adaptation, distribution, text and data mining, and commercial use are permitted when appropriate credit is given, the licence is linked, and changes are indicated.

  • The copyright holder and licence must appear on the article’s HTML and PDF versions and must not conflict with the open-access statement.
  • Third-party material is included under the article licence only when its credit line does not state otherwise. Users must obtain permission for reuse beyond the law or the right holder’s terms.
  • Authors may deposit the preprint, accepted manuscript, and version of record in any appropriate institutional, subject, funder, or personal repository without an embargo. The repository record should identify the version and link to the DOI and version of record.
