Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between talent management and service quality within the Egyptian commercial banking sector, exploring the role of employee engagement as a potential mediating mechanism. Utilizing a quantitative survey methodology, data was collected from a sample of 200 bank employees across 15 Egyptian commercial banks. Using multiple regressions and path analysis the findings reveal significant positive relationships between talent management dimensions (recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee empowerment, and succession planning) and both service quality and employee engagement. Furthermore, path analysis confirms that employee engagement significantly mediates the relationship between talent management practices and service quality. Theoretical implications and practical recommendations for bank executives are discussed alongside study limitations and avenues for future research.
