I work as a Principal Lecturer in New Zealand. I earned my PhD from the University of Oklahoma in 2007. In February 2011, I joined Eastern Institute of Technology's (EIT) School of Computing. Prior to joining EIT, I have taught both distance education and face-to-face with the University of Maryland as an adjunct assistant professor and as an adjunct associate professor. I am involved in a number of research activities in Canada and New Zealand.
