Focus and Scope
Studies in Asian Social Science (SASS) publishes original research, applied, and educational articles in all areas of Asian social science. The scopes of the journal include, but are not limited to, the following fields: anthropology, communication studies, cultural studies, economics, business, management, education, human geography, history, law, linguistics, literature, political science, psychology and sociology.

Peer Review Process
We use a double-blind system for peer review; both reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous. The paper will be reviewed by at least three experts: one editorial staff member and at least two external reviewers. The review process may take four to ten weeks.
Publication Frequency
2023-2014 Semiannual, published in January and July
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
